Fence Amendment
If you have a fence, does it look exactly
like the fence that runs along Butterfield
Road? If not, your fence is in violation
of Chesterfield's original by-laws as
writen by the developer, Centex.
We know that there are
many fences in Chesterfield that do not
meet the fencing requirements in the
by-laws. In the 10+ years since
Chesterfield was developed, new types of
fence materials have become available, and
many residents have requested that these
materials be allowed. The board, the
regulations committee and the
association's attorney have developed new fence
requirements to include these new
types of materials.
In order for this
amendment to pass, we need at least 75% of
the residents to sign and return the fence
amendment form. Please read the
document, print the signature page,
sign and return it. You can give the page
to one of the board member, mail or fax it
to the address below, or bring it to one
of the homeowner meetings.
