Resident Concerns

  • A Resident brought up a suggestion to have a representative from each area of our subdivision to attend Board meetings on a regular basis.
  • Rental Property's not properly maintained or reported to the Board of Directors is against the Bylaws. The Board will check on records that have been given to us.
  • Contact the planning commission at the Village to get updates on the area of land around the farm.
  • The creation of a beautifying committee discussed about enforcing rules and regulations when they are started. We still need volunteers for the activity committee.
  • Motion to put up a "Private Lake" sign and garbage cans around the lake area.
  • Had a discussion about catch and releasing at the lake for fish. Need to check on State regulations to see if that is acceptable.
  • Residents asked for open meetings. Quarterly meetings have been discussed in the past and there is little or no attendance unless there is a negative issue. We will discuss these options with the new Board.
  • A statement was made about parking on both sides of the street on Chesterfield. Find out if Village can post signs about parking on one side or posting signs about no parking overnight.

The meeting adjourned at 8:50 PM.
