Board of Directors Meeting
December 3, 2002

Meeting called to order at 7:45 pm

Minutes for November were not available for review.

Treasurer’s Report
Books turned over to OAM.
Two checks to OAM: $641.50 per month
One check to Dan Taddei for web server: $32.90

Old Business

Letter from attorney was sent to the delinquent members providing 10 business days to pay their overdue assessments. Seven members are overdue by one year. The letters were sent on 25 November.

The property has been turned over to the Fox Valley Park District Property. They have been working on property during the last few weeks.

All of Chesterfield streets have been turned over to the village. The village is now responsible for snow removal, salting, parking, and speed control.

The Board discussed the proposal to place a split rail fence on the homeowner side of the bike trail. We had concerns regarding the use of split rail. A review of the Covenants seem to allow the use of cedar split rail in this application.

New Business

Budget will be proposed by OAM before or at our next meeting.

OAM will send assessments January 1.

A motion was made and seconded to raise the assessment by $5.00 ($195.00) to be effective 1 January 2003. The motion passed 4/0.

The Board viewed the new web site created by Barbara Young. It looked great. A few small changes will be made and then it will go live.

The Board discussed the possible development of a newsletter that will go with Village newsletter. Kevin will be newsletter editor.

Next Board Meeting January 7, 2003 at Mark’s house.
