Board of Directors Meeting
August 13, 2003

Meeting called to order at 7:39 pm

Minutes for July were reviewed and approved.

Treasurer’s Report

• 19 outstanding assessments

Open Business

• Kevin will check with the bank about CDs to get more interest with the money in the bank to mature at different times. He'll e-mail information to the other members as soon as possible so a vote can be made next month.
• Dan needs to move the web site over to the association account.
• Centex has submitted to the Village to take over the subdivision. Within a month there should be a walkthrough of the subdivision. Kevin will get the punch list of the Board's concerns and repairs to Mike Glock at the Village before the official walkthrough.
• We need to start addressing the 2004 budget. A draft needs to be prepared for the Annual Meeting. Dan will get the history from OAM so we can discuss at September's board meeting.
• Mark will check availability of the library for the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, November 4th at 7:00 pm. A letter will go out to residents at the beginning of September.
• Another courtesy letter will be sent about the trampoline and bike ramp in the common areas. Winters needs to mow these areas and they need to be kept free of personal property.

Wetlands Area

• Received the actual plat for the wetland area from the Village. It is an extra $400 a month to keep the bike path area mowed.
• Mark will contact Batavia and Fox Valley for contacts to do prescribed burns and maintenance. Dan will contact OAM to get wetland maintenance contacts.
• Maintenance schedule for the common areas from the Village and Army Corp of Engineers:

      1. Cut buckhorn, treat stump
      2. Treat reed canary grass
      3. Prescribe burn
    • Year 2
      1. Check site
      2. Spot treat weeds

Activity Committee

The 2nd Annual Subdivision Summer Party is Saturday August 23, 2003 from noon to ??? Flyers and signs will be distributed this week. Notice will be posted on the web site with the sponsors.

The meeting adjourned at 8:45 PM.
